Feb 23 The Tasmanian Premier has announced that he is leaving politics due to ill health. Whether you like his politics or not that is a severe blow to the poorest state in Australia. Under his leadership the state economy has grown from a black hole to verging on boom times. Sadly there is no one of his stature on either side of politics and I think that the State is headed back into a black hole. Feb 21 It must really be a slow news day here in Australia because the only thing we can find that is worth talking about is the fact that this site just went live :) |
